Felicity-Franklin FFA

Earlier this year, Showtimes Magazine announced their “Best FFA Chapter in America” contest. Held in memory of Brooke Groth, the contest highlights FFA Chapters for the work they do in their community. Chapters entered by submitting a short video showing why their FFA Chapter was the best. Members worked together to film the video, celebrating community, teamwork and friendships within the chapter. Then, members learned how to edit the video and sent it in. Kyra Davidson helped to create and edit the video as the chapter’s Communications Director. When asked about the project Kyra said, “Working on the chapter video was an awesome experience to develop our communications skills. The video really brought us together as a chapter because we all put a lot of heart into the project. We all were really passionate about creating the video. Getting top 8 was an amazing honor and the project created a huge sense of family among the chapter. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to work on this project and bring our chapter together.” Showtimes Magazine then reviewed all competing chapter videos. Felicity-Franklin FFA was selected as one of the Top 8 Chapters in America (based on their video submission). The video contest was a fun and educational activity for the members, expanding creativity and teamwork for members. The video is posted on the Felicity FFA Instagram and Facebook pages.
