cardinals care day

Felicity FFA Year In Review

On December 16, 2021, Felicity FFA held their annual day-of-service event: Cardinals Care. This event involves the entire high school, and every student gets to participate.

FFA members plan, schedule, gather supplies, and instruct other students on many community service projects throughout the school.

Projects by students on Cardinals Care day included: writing thank you cards to first responders, local law enforcement, and veterans; making outdoor decorations for the local retirement home, making dog toys and beds for the local animal shelter, baking and decorating cookies for local businesses, and creating gifts and goodie bags for healthcare workers for the holidays, and volunteering at the nearby food pantry. Students could also participate in a dodgeball game by donating a canned good or cash to charity to play.

This event does good for the community, and allows FFA members to gain leadership experience.
