Good Afternoon. There have been some rumors and concerns about safety in our schools. We have been working through some issues the last few days regarding social media and poor choices. Please be aware that the school district is prohibited from releasing details of incidents that involve students or any information that may be used to identify students. The district has and will continue to follow the strictest of protocols to keep our students safe. The district will continue to communicate with parents and the community, when appropriate and allowable details can be shared. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. School administrators and staff, parents, and students working together is what makes for a safe school environment. As Superintendent, I am asking all parents to take some time to talk with their children about how they are using social media, whom they are communicating with, and the importance of being responsible and safe in the cyber community.

Great time tonight celebrating our first team all-stars at the SBAAC banquet. Congratulations Cardinals! Our Fall awards night will be Friday night following the Cardinal showcase. Come out and get a great meal and stay around to celebrate our fall athletes around 7:00.
We love partnering up with the public library! Today, 2nd grade got to go on a trip to the public library! They got to notice and wonder about the Wild West for our module 2 in Wit & Wisdom. Then, they got to check out books to take home! What a great Tuesday!
