Fourth grade students are having fun rounding whole numbers!

Dear Cardinal Family,
Today we practiced our lockdown and barricade safety drill at ~1:00pm. Our procedures have been developed with the coordination of local and county law enforcement. Our training and procedures are based upon data and the current best practices available. Safety trainings are necessary and help us to ensure student and staff safety in the event of a actual emergency.
In addition to practice and training, we work hard every day to establish positive working relationships with students and families. Preventative measures help us to assure our school is a safe and caring place where every student has at least one trusted adult. Prevention happens when students are able to come forward with information, recognize warning signs, and share information that allows our school community to intervene and help individuals long before they reach a crisis or tipping point. This is everyone’s responsibility and is at the very core of our business, we are a school community that cares about the whole-child first.
In the event that a student or parent wishes to make a report during non-school hours please remember to use the Safe School Tip Line 844-723-3764.
Thank you in helping us keep school a safe place to learn!
