Dear Cardinal Family,
This morning we will be practicing our lockdown and barricade safety drill procedures at approximately 9:00 am. Our procedures have been developed with the coordination of local and county law enforcement. Our training and procedures are based on data and the current best practices available. Safety training is necessary and helps us to ensure student and staff safety in the event of an actual emergency.
In addition to practice and training, we work hard every day to establish positive working relationships with students and families. Preventative measures help us to ensure our school is a safe and caring place where every student has at least one trusted adult. Prevention happens when students are able to come forward with information, recognize warning signs, and share information that allows our school community to intervene and help individuals long before they reach a crisis or tipping point. This is everyone’s responsibility and is at the very core of our business, we are a school community that cares about the whole child first.
In the event that a student or parent wishes to make a report during non-school hours please remember to use the Safe School Tip Line at 844-723-3764.
Thank you for helping us keep school a safe place to learn!
Mr. Bob Walker
Felicity-Franklin Local School Superintendent

Today we used teamwork to learn about earth science in 4th grade! 🌎The students collaborated to sort and understand how different landforms are created.

Mrs. Smith's 2nd graders had a blast today practicing place value! They worked in pairs, using dice to identify the value of specific digits and then drawing the pictorial form of the numbers. It was a fun and engaging way to learn this important math concept.
