Reviewing Author’s Purpose was so much fun today! We enjoyed some PIE — Persuade, Inform, Entertain — as we explored how authors share their message.
We had a fun Thanksgiving treat and made thankful placemats to take home! I am thankful for all of my students! Happy Thanksgiving!!

We are incredibly grateful for Mr. Bock’s commitment and dedication over the past 15 weeks. He has gone above and beyond his subbing duties to create meaningful and memorable learning experiences for our students. His strong rapport with students, dependable work ethic, and genuine love for our school and community make him an invaluable part of our Cardinal family.
Our 5th graders were BUSY leading up to Thanksgiving break! They participated in a Thanksgiving QR code scavenger hunt and filled up our gratitude tree with the things they are thankful for! Many of our 5th graders also completed a Gratitude Challenge where they came up with 100 things they're grateful for!
There is so much to be thankful for, today and every day!

Second grade had a blast today! First, we got to watch a Macy's Day Parade go down the hallways! At the end of the day, we got to have a "Charlie Brown" Thanksgiving Feast!
