Good Evening. By now many of you have heard that there was a lightning event at the high school soccer game earlier this evening. No one was struck by lightning however, some felt the effects of the nearby strike. Four people were transported to local hospitals for follow up evaluations. At this time, I am happy to report all are doing well.

Don't miss the 14th annual Fall Feast! We will serve home cooked pulled pork meals with sides, drinks, and desserts. Specialty Pie and Cake Auction will start at 6:30pm and Farmhand Auction will start at 7:30. We will also auction off our decorations at the end! Come enjoy a nice meal with great company; see you there!

Reminder –The first test of the “Presidential Alert” which is part of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System is scheduled for 2:18 p.m. today. At that time an alert will be sent to all cellphones in America stating “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.” In addition to this, a second test will take place on TV and radio at 2:20 p.m. The system is a new way to notify Americans across the country of national emergencies.
