As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them. -JFK
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
FCCLA is so thankful to offer free items to the high school students for HOCO! We are thankful for the 75 dresses that the community donated. We are thankful for the volunteers who gave their entire day to help students and we are especially thankful for the smiles of gratitude that lit up the room! Happy Thanksgiving!

Today we learned from reading Charlie Brown"Thanksgiving isn't just about eating. We should be thankful for being together. That's what Thanksgiving is all about."

We enjoyed the movie Shiloh after reading the novel first quarter! Which is better the book or the movie?

We practice Author's Purpose today and enjoyed PIE-persuade, inform, entertain!

Thank you to FCCLA for sponsoring our "Blessed with a Dress, Suite and More" event.

Third grade got a little messy today with Oobleck. It was a great way to end our unit on Matter!

Mrs. Stephens first graders make Turkey Traps as a stem activity! They made a plan, designed a trap, tested it, made changes and presented to the class! They used pipe cleaner, string, tape and cardboard! They were all very creative and worked cooperatively in their groups!! Great job by all.

First graders read "How to Catch a Turkey" then planned and made our own turkey traps! 🦃
